
Carbonara Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients
- 8 oz Cream cheese, slightly softened at room temperature but still cold
- 1/2 cup Whole milk ricotta cheese
- 3/4 Grated parmesan cheese, plus more as needed to taste
- 1 tsp Garlic powder, plus more as needed to taste
- 6 Large jalapenos, stems removed, peppers cut in half and seeds and ribs scraped out
- 12 Each pepper bacon, 12 strips or as needed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ºF. Line a sheet pan with foil or parchment paper and set aside briefly.
- In a bowl combine cream cheese, ricotta, Parmesan and garlic powder, and whisk to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper as needed.
- Add cheese mixture to a pastry bag or spoon fill centers of each halved jalapeño with cheese mixture.
- Lay out 12 pieces of bacon and tightly wrap each jalapeño half in bacon so the cream cheese filling is completely covered.
- Arrange wrapped poppers on prepared sheet pan and bake 20 to 30 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked and crispy.
- Allow poppers to cool for at least 10 minutes before eating.
