Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Canola or vegetable oil
  • 2 cups White onions, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp Sherry vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Bragg Liquid Aminos, plus more as needed to taste

Instructions

  2. Continue to cook until mushrooms and onions are nicely browned and have cooked down to almost a jam consistency.
  3. Add vinegar and liquid aminos, and continue to cook until all liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving.
  4. Serve over burgers or grilled chicken, or as a spread on sandwiches.
  5. Chef's Note: If onions and mushrooms begin to stick to pan, add a couple of tablespoons of water as needed to help loosen any browned bits.
