Broccoli Cheese Quiche

Ingredients

  • 1 Frozen pie shells
  • 2 cups Broccoli crowns, chopped
  • 1 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 oz Crumbled Goat Cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Liquid egg
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F .
  2. Bake pie shell 10 minutes, until slightly browned. Remove and set aside to cool.
  3. While pie shell bakes, bring a medium non-stick skillet to medium low heat.
  4. Add broccoli, garlic, and 1/4 cup water. Cover and steam for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour into pie shell, and top with pea-size portions of goat cheese.
  6. In a small mixing bowl, beat egg substitute, salt, and pepper until foamy. Pour over broccoli and cheese.
  7. Bake 25 minutes, or until center of quiche is set.
