Brisket Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Yellow onions, chopped
  • 2 lb Lean beef brisket, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 30 oz Borracho Beans, rinsed and drained
  • 14 oz Diced Fire Roasted Tomatoes, undrained
  • 8 oz Tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Ground cumin
  • 1/8 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp H-E-B That Green Sauce, (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large stock pot, then add onion and brisket. Brown brisket on all sides then transfer to crock pot.
  2. Stir in beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic powder, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, pepper and That Green Sauce.
  3. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
