Borracho Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pinto beans
  • 6 Fully cooked bacon
  • 12 oz Medium pico de gallo
  • 12 oz Beer
  • 2 cups Flour tortilla mix

Instructions

  1. Cook beans according to package instructions.
  2. After exactly 1 hour and 30 minutes of cooking the beans, add the bacon, prepared pico de gallo and beer.
  3. Continue to cook the beans uncovered for the additional 30 minutes or until beans are tender.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare 12 flour tortillas according to package directions using the 2 cups of the flour tortilla mix.
  5. Serve beans with tortillas.
