Bloody Revolution Taco Soup

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Cold pressed canola oil, garlic flavor
  • 1 lb Lean ground sirloin
  • 1 cup Sweet onions, finely chopped
  • 12 oz Beer
  • 12 oz Medium Pico De Gallo
  • 15 oz Can borracho beans, with liquid
  • 1 Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 1/2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 1/2 cups Bloody Mary Mix
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place a large soup pot on medium high heat. Add oil and ground beef. Stir and cook thoroughly until well browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add onion and sauté another 3 to 4 minutes. Add beer, pico de gallo, beans, taco seasoning, broth and Bloody Revolution to pan and bring to a simmer. Simmer 10 minutes. Stir fresh cilantro through just before serving.
  3. Add optional taco garnishes if desired, such as sour cream, grated cheddar cheese and cubed avocado.
