Unsaved Beyond Classic Cheeseburger

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Beyond Beef Patties
  • 1 tsp Burger seasoning
  • 2 American cheese slices
  • 2 Hamburger Buns, lightly toasted
  • 4 Lettuce leaves
  • 1 Small beefsteak tomato, sliced (about 2 slices)
  • 1 Red onion, sliced (about 2 slices)
  • 8 Dill pickle chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat a cast iron skillet to medium heat and lightly spray with oil.
  2. Season patties with burger spice and place in the hot skillet. Cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, adjusting heat as needed.
  3. Place a slice of cheese on top of each patty, pour 1/4 cup of water into pan then quickly cover. This will create steam and melt the cheese.
  4. Transfer each patty to the bottom half of a hamburger bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles and finish with the top bun. Add your favorite condiment and serve immediately.
