Beef Steak Allegro

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Hickory smoke marinade
  • 1/2 cup Reduced sodium beef broth
  • 4 Fresh garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb Boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut 3/4-inch thick

Instructions

  1. Combine marinade, broth, garlic, brown sugar, oil and pepper in a 1-gallon sealable plastic bag; add steak and turn bag to coat; marinate in refrigerator 4-6 hours or overnight.
  2. Heat charcoal 30 minutes, or heat gas grill on high 10 minutes, with lid closed.
  3. Remove steaks from marinade, and place on grill at medium heat; grill steaks 6-8 minutes per side, or until a meat thermometer inserted into center of steaks reads 140°F for medium-rare or 155°F for medium doneness.
