Banh Mi Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground pork 90% lean
  • 4 Green onion, chopped fine
  • 1 Fresh basil, chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp Chinese five spice
  • 1/4 cup Fischer & Wieser Four Star Provisions Plum Garlic Thai Sauce
  • 4 Hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup Carrot, shredded
  • 1 Jalapeño pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 1 Small red onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine pork, green onions, basil, and Chinese five spice. Mix until completely combined.
  3. Roll into 4 equal size balls, then flatten into patties. Place patties on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake approximately 20 minutes, basting halfway through with Plum Garlic Thai Sauce.
  5. To build burger, place 1 patty on each bottom bun. Top with carrots, jalapeño, red onion, and bun top. Enjoy!
