Bacon Glazed Brussels Sprouts

Unsaved Bacon Glazed Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Low sodium chicken broth
  • 4 cups Fresh brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1/3 cup Fresh shallot(s), finely chopped
  • 1/8 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sweet cream salted butter
  • 1/2 cup Bacon jam

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add Brussels sprouts and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook, stirring often, until well browned in spots and beginning to soften, 5-7 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low and add shallots and butter. Cook, stirring often, until soft, about 3 minutes.
  5. dd broth; increase heat and bring to a boil, scraping up browned bits from bottom of pan.
  6. Reduce to medium-low and simmer until broth has evaporated, 1-2 minutes.
  7. Stir in Bacon Jam and serve.
