Bacon Blue Cheese Steak Burgers

Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 lb 96% Lean Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp Steak sauce
- 1 tsp Ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup Green onion, chopped
- 4 oz Mushrooms, sliced
- 4 tbsp Bacon jam
- 1/2 cup Blue cheese, crumbled
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine beef, steak sauce, black pepper, and green onions. Mix well and form into 4 equal patties.
- Spray a large sauté pan with non-stick spray and over medium heat.
- Sauté mushrooms until well browned. Remove to a bowl.
- In the same sauté pan, spray a bit more non-stick spray then add the four preformed patties.
- Cook 6 minutes on one side then turn.
- Add 1 tbsp. of bacon jam to each burger, and then top with blue cheese.
- Cover and cook a few minutes until the cheese begins to melt.
- Remove from the pan and place on a plate. Top with sautéed mushrooms and serve.
