Bacon and Sausage Spiral Skewers

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Beef brisket sausage, cut into 5 equal sized pieces
  • 5 Center cut bacon
  • 1 pack Wooden skewers, soaked in water 30 minutes before use

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-hight heat, about 375ºF to 400ºF.
  2. Thread sausage on wooden skewer. Lay skewers flat on counter and using a chef's knife, cut sausage in a spiral motion, twisting skewer until reaching the bottom. Repeat with all sausages.
  3. Separate sausage until it fills up length of skewers than twist bacon in space between sausage.
  4. Grill skewers about 15 minutes or until bacon is cooked through and crispy. If desired, coat skewers with BBQ sauce and serve on hot dog buns or tortillas.
