Asian Lettuce Wraps

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 lb Seasoned beef skirt steak for fajitas, sliced thin into strips
  • 2 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Fresh ginger root, ground
  • 2 tbsp Low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup Shredded carrots
  • 8 Iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 cup Green onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over high, then add oil and beef.
  2. Stir-fry until brown then add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sugar, carrots and 2 tablespoons water. Cook an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Lay out lettuce leaves on a serving tray and fill each with beef mixture and garnish with green onion.
