Apple Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Apple cider
- 3 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp Dried sage
- 2 Gala apple, sliced 1/2-inch thick
- 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 4 Pork chops, 1-inch thick
- 1/2 White onion, sliced
Instructions
- Season chops with oil, sage, salt and pepper; place a large skillet over a medium-high heat; place each chop in pan, and sear 3 minutes per side.
- Remove chops, then add apples and onions; sauté 4 minutes, then add vinegar and apple cider; let sauce come to a gentle simmer, and return chops to the pan.
- Adjust heat to medium, cover and allow chops and apples to cook together 4 minutes.
