Air Fryer Hash Browns

Ingredients

  • 15 oz Frozen shredded hash browns
  • 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/4 cup Green onions, green parts only, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Break apart frozen hash browns while still in bag. Pour half of bag into a microwaveable bowl. Defrost hash browns in microwave just until remaining chunks separate and frost is gone.
  2. Toss potatoes with oil, salt, pepper and green onions. Spread out in an even layer in the bottom of Air Fryer basket insert.
  3. Set air fryer on French fry setting (or manual = 390 degrees) and cook 18 to 20 minutes or to desired doneness.
  4. Chef's Note: For cheesy hash browns, scatter a handful of shredded provolone or cheddar cheese over the top and cook for and additional 2 minutes.
