Air Fried Buttermilk Soaked Jalapeños

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pickled jalapeños, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups Low Fat Cultured 1% Milkfat Buttermilk, as needed to cover jalapeños
  • 2 cups Corn flour, plus more as needed for coating
  • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray, as needed for coating jalapeños
  • 1.5 l Air fryer

Instructions

  1. Place jalapeños into a bowl and cover with buttermilk, soak for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Drain liquid from jalapeños and place in corn flour, toss to coat thoroughly. Spray with a little non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Add jalapeños to 1.5 quart air fryer basket, turn temperature dial to 400ºF and set timer for 14 minutes.
  4. Once cooked, pour out onto a paper towel and cool before serving, dip into your favorite sauce.
  5. Chef’s Note: This recipe works great with any size air fryer but cook time will vary based on machine size.
