Agave Lime Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 2 tbsp Light agave nectar
  • 4 Frozen chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 Fresh garlic clove, minced
  • 1 Lime(s), juiced, juiced and zested
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Remove chicken breasts from reezer and defrost according to package directions.
  2. To make the marinade, combine ingredients 2 - 7 in medium sized bowl, add chicken and coat well. Cover and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Preheat grill to medium high-heat.
  4. Grill chicken for approximately 5 minutes per side or until an internal thermometer reads 165°F.
  5. Remove from grill and serve with salad or roasted vegetables.
