  • 1 1/2 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 6 Large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 9 oz Nestlé Toll House Espresso Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. In the kettle, mix chopped hot chocolate drink tablets, butter, cocoa, and coffee.
  2. Cook over medium heat until melted and combined. Remove from heat and reserve.
  3. In another medium-sized bowl, mix eggs and sugar until pale. Add vanilla then slowly add chocolate mixture, stirring until combined.
  4. Add flour mixture in 3 parts and add chocolate chips.
  5. Grease 3 small saucepans (about 5.5 inches in diameter) with 2 tbsp. of butter. Add ¾ cup of dough to each saucepan and reserve the rest.
  6. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until cooked. Repeat with the remaining dough and saucepans.
  7. Let cool completely in saucepan.
  8. Decorate with frosting and enjoy
