  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 cup Orange chicken sauce, plus more as needed
  • 10 oz Steamable whole grain brown rice
  • 1/2 cup Fresh green onion, thinly chopped, as needed for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  2. Toss chicken chunks with sesame oil and place onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Bake 15 minutes, then remove.
  3. Place a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, add chicken and continue to cook until slightly crunchy before adding sauce.
  4. Once sauce is added continue to stir-fry in until chicken is completely coated. Sauce should be sticky and hot. Remove from heat.
  5. While chicken rests, heat rice in microwave and place into a serving bowl once hot. Pour orange chicken over rice and garnish with green onions. Season to taste as needed.
