    Enriched Long Grain Parboiled Rice (Rice, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid), Red Beans, Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (Wheat & Malt Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Onion, Corn Starch, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Tamari Soy Sauce (Soybean, Salt), Red and Green Bell Pepper, Yeast Extract, Torula Yeast, Garlic, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Malted Barley Flour, Spices (Including Red Pepper), Natural Flavor & Extractives of Paprika.

  • Stove Top Directions: Pick a protein 1/2 lb., cut into bite-sized pieces. Smoked Sausage. Cooked Chicken. Cooked Ground Beef or Ground Sausage. Cook: Mix 3 cups water, Rice Mix, meat of your choice and 2 tbsp. butter margarine or olive oil in 3-quart saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent rice and beans from sticking. Enjoy: Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Zatarain’s Kitchen: Tips and Tricks: Add the Holy Trinity (saute 1/2 cup each chopped red onion, chopped celery and chopped bell pepper). Quick & Easy: Use leftover ground taco meat or shredded rotisserie chicken. Homemade: For a meatless twist, add 1 can of kidney or black beans, drained and rinsed in place of the protein.
