Drain, season to taste, and serve. Microwave: Pour frozen edamame in a microwave-safe dish. Add 3/4 cup water and cover. Microwave on HIGH for 4 to 6 minutes. Carefully drain, season to taste, and cover. Allow to stand covered for a few minutes before serving. Caution: Product and container may be hot. Note: Microwave ovens vary in power; adjust cooking times accordingly. Do not microwave in bad. For fond safety. cook to a temperature of 165 degree F. Steam: Pour frozen edamame in a vegetable steamer and carefully place over boiling water. Cover and steam for 4 to 6 minutes, until just tender.
