  • Keep frozen. How should I cook 'em? Stove Top: Place desired amount of frozen squash in 1/4 cup boiling water. Bring water to a boil again, stirring gently. Cover, reduce heat, simmer for 4-6 minutes, or until tender. Drain if necessary. Season to taste and serve. Microwave-Whole Bag: Place frozen squash in 1 quart casserole dish. Cover and microwave on high for 4-6 minutes, stirring twice during cooking. Drain, season to taste, and serve. Note: Microwave cooking times may vary depending on the brand of appliance used. Please consult the manufacturer's instructions. Keep frozen until ready to use. Do not thaw and refreeze.
