Description

Vicks VapoRub is a topical cough over-the-counter medicine with powerful Vicks vapors. It works quickly to relieve coughs so you can breathe easier. Vicks VapoRub is specially formulated with three active cough suppressants: menthol, camphor, and eucalyptus oil. To use, rub a thick layer of the medicated ointment on your chest and throat to temporarily relieve cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with the common cold. Keep clothing loose around throat and chest to allow the Vicks Vapors to reach the nose and mouth and go straight to the source of your cough. Use up to three times daily or as directed by a doctor for soothing and comforting relief. VapoRub can also be used as a topical analgesic to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains in your muscles and joints. To use for muscle and joint aches and pains: apply to affected area not more than three to four times daily.
