This alarm is intended for use in ordinary indoor locations of family living units. It is not designed to measure C0 levels in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administrating (OSHA) commercial or industrial standards. Individuals with medical conditions may consider using warning devices which provide audible and visual signals for carbon monoxide concentrations under 30 ppm. Constant exposures to high or low temperatures, or high humidity, may reduce battery life.- Early warning of carbon monoxide is best achieved by installing alarms in every level of the dwelling, including basements.
