  • 20 min. cook time. Cooking Directions: Stovetop - preferred method: 1. Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet, 2 cups water and 1 tbsp. butter (optional) into a medium saucepan. Stir well. 2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered 20 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Set aside 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve. Alternate Cooking Method: For best results, use stovetop cooking method. Microwave: 1. Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet, 2 cups hot water and 1 tbsp. butter (optional) into a 2-qt microwave-safe glass bowl. Stir well. 2. Cover tightly with microwave-safe glass lid or plastic wrap and microwave on high for 5 minutes. 3. Reduce to medium (50%) for 15-20 minutes. Remove from microwave. Let stand covered 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. Adjust cooking time as needed.
