  • 1-1/2 Cups Cooked Jasmine Rice: 1/2 cup rice; 1 cup water; 1/2 tsp. butter (optional). 3 Cups Cooked Jasmine Rice: 1 cup rice; 2 cups water; 1 tsp. butter (optional). 6-1/2 Cups Cooked Jasmine Rice: 1 box rice; 3 cups water; 1-1/2 tsp. butter (optional). Cooking: Cook Time: 30 minutes. Stove Top: 1. Bring recommended amount of water to boil in medium to large saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low. 2. Stir in rice and butter (optional). Cover and simmer 10 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally. 3. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Microwave: 1. Mix water, rice and butter (optional) in large microwave bowl. 2. Microwave, uncovered, on high 9 minutes. Stir. Cover and microwave 6 minutes longer or until rice is tender. 3. Let stand 5 minutes. Microwave ovens vary; cooking times may need to be adjusted.
