- Sweep or brush pouf periodically to maintain its soft feel. Treat minor spills with soap and water on a sponge. Alternatively, wipe the pouf smoothly in the direction of the hair with a damp cloth with mild soap and water. For a more thorough cleaning, steam cleaning is recommended. No machine-wash.
