Description

The Taylor Digital Instant Read Pocket Thermometer provides superior results to professional and amateur chefs alike. This compact pocket thermometer measures temperatures from 58- to 302 degrees Fahrenheit. A 0.4" inch LCD display is easy-to-read and updates every second. Additional features include a Fahrenheit/Celsius switch and an on/off switch to preserve battery life. A plastic storage case with pocket clip provides safety and portability.

Caution: Do not touch stem with bare hands when hot. Do not leave in oven or grill. Batteries may pose a choking hazard. Do not let children handle batteries. Do not dispose of battery in fire. Battery may explode or leak. Remove the battery if the thermometer will not be used for a long period of time. Please recycle or dispose of battery per local regulations.
General Operation: Temperature sensor is in the stem tip. Immerse stem at least 1 inch for accurate readings. Display updates every 1 second. Stainless steel stem is safe for food. Temperature range: -40 degrees F to 302 degrees F. Over/under the thermometer range indicated by ---. Battery Replacement: Insert a coin into side slot and gently pry top portion of the thermometer housing open. Separate the two halves being careful not to pull any connections loose. Use the coin to push old battery away from the wires toward the open side and out from under the metal battery holder. Insert new battery with '+' sign up in the opposite direction of removal. Gently snap top housing back onto bottom housing being careful to align flat sides of the two pieces. Cleaning and Care: Do not immerse thermometer in water. Not for use in dishwashers. Clean stem with hot, soapy water and wipe head with damp cloth. Stem can also be cleaned with alcohol to disinfect.
