There's two ways you can cook it, either slowly simmered in water (preferred) or oven-roasted. Enjoy the hand-carved goodness of this thinly sliced ham that comes in a traditional cloth bag.

    Ham Cured with Salt, White Sugar, Brown Sugar, Sodium Nitrate, Pepper, Sodium Nitrite.

    Keep refrigerated. Cook before eating.
  • Stovetop: Place ham skin-side down in a large pot and cover with cool water. Bring water to 190˚F (simmering, not boiling). Cook for approximately 25 minutes per pound or until the internal temperature reaches 163˚F. Add water as needed to keep ham covered. When done, remove ham from pot. While the ham is still warm, remove skin and fat as desired. If a sweet coating is desired, sprinkle the fat side with brown sugar and breadcrumbs and bake in oven at 400˚F until brown (approximately 15 minutes).
