Stovetop Use: Experiment with heat settings; start with medium heat and adjust as needed: recommended heat settings for stovetop cooking: Use high heat for boiling liquids and reducing liquids only. Use medium-high heat for searing, sauteing, frying, and stir-frying. Use medium heat setting for pancakes, sandwiches and omelettes. Use low heat to warm foods, simmer or prepare delicate sauces. Simply Calphalon Stainless Steel cookware is safe for use with all utensils. Oven & Broiler Use: Simply Calphalon Stainless Steel cookware is oven-safe to 400 degrees F/ 204 degrees C. It is not safe for broiler use. Cleaning your Cookware: Allow pan to cool completely before washing. Never immerse a hot pan in cold water as this will cause irreparable warping. Simply Calphalon Stainless Steel cookware is dishwasher safe, However, we recommend hand washing to preserve the luster of the stainless steel. Hand wash using a liquid dishwashing detergent such as Dawn (Dawn is a registered trademark of Proctor & Gamble.) and a nonabrasive sponge or soft bristle brush. To restore the shine to your stainless steel cookware, you may also use Bar Keeper's Friend cleanser (Bar Keepers Friend is a registered trademark of SerVaas Laboratories.) (or other polish made especially for stainless steel) and a nonabrasive sponge or soft bristle brush.
