    Ingredients

Dehydrated Pinto Beans, Tomato, Jalapeno, Onion and Garlic, Spice, Salt.
  • Cooking: Combine 3.5 cups of water with 1.5 cups (12-ounces or a normal size bottle) of your favorite beer in a 3-quart sauce pan. Bring to a boil on stovetop. Slowly stir in contents of package; turn stove to Low heat. Cover sauce pan with lid. Stir occasionally. Cook 25 minutes or until beans are tender. Add salt to desired taste. If you don't like beer, try your favorite wine. Any alcohol should evaporate during the cooking process, but if you want to be safe, use your favorite non-alcoholic brew. Santa Fe Borracho Beans are also superb if prepared entirely with water. Garnish with crumbled bacon, tomato, avocado, cilantro, or lime. For smaller portions mix one-to-one with boiling water.
