Description
The finest white tea buds blended with our traditional green tea. White tea without the caffeine! White tea, known for its antioxidant properties, is one of the least processed teas. We've combined white and green tea decaffeinated using only pure spring water and effervescence in order to preserve the antioxidants. Not as well known as green tea, white tea is named for the whitish appearance of the tea buds, meticulously hand-picked before they fully open and quickly dried to prevent any oxidation. White Tea was traditionally reserved for Chinese royalty due to its rarity. Today, researchers are investigating whether White Tea may have even more potent health promoting properties than Green Tea. This subtle Salada blend of white and green teas captures the essence of both without the caffeine. So it fits right into your healthy lifestyle. For centuries green tea has been recognized in Asia for its role in a healthy lifestyle. Several recent studies have identified some potentially powerful antioxidants in green tea. One of the antioxidants, known as EGCG, is found only in green tea leaves and is one of the most powerful antioxidants yet discovered. No wonder the emperor Shen Nung proclaimed green tea to be heaven sent.
