Ingredients
TEXMATI WHITE RICE.- COOKING TEXMATI WHITE RICE: 1-3/4 CUPS WATER. 1 CUP RICE. 1/2 TSP SALT (OPTIONAL). 1 TSP BUTTER OR OLIVE OIL (OPTIONAL). BRING WATER TO A BOIL. ADD SALT AND BUTTER OR OLIVE OIL, IF DESIRED. STIR IN RICE. COVER WITH LID; REDUCE HEAT TO LOW AND SIMMER 15 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND LET STAND (COVERED) 5 MINUTES. FLUFF WITH A FORK AND SERVE. YIELDS APPROXIMATELY 3 CUPS.
