Description

Docusate Sodium. Each Softgel Contains: Sodium 5 mg. Made in the USA. Temporarily relieves occasional constipation. This product usually causes a bowel movement within 12 to 72 hours.

  • Ingredients

    Active Ingredient (in each Softgel): Docusate Sodium (100 mg). Inactive Ingredients: FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Yellow No. 6, Gelatin, Glycerin, Polyethylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Sorbitol Special.

    Allergens and safety warnings

    Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present. Ask a doctor before use if you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts over a period of 2 weeks. Stop use and ask a doctor if you have no bowel movement or have rectal bleeding. These could be signs of a serious condition; you need to use for more than 7 days. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Do not use if tamper-evident feature is broken or missing.

  • Adults and Children 12 Years and Over: Take 1-3 softgels daily. Children 2 to Under 12 Years: Take 1 softgel only. Children Under 2: Ask a doctor. Store at 15-30 degrees C (59-86 degrees F). Protect from excessive moisture.
