  • Safe Handling Instructions: This is made with raw corn, so it is not ready-to-eat and must be thoroughly cooked before eating to prevent illness. Do not eat or play with raw product; wash hands, utensils, and surfaces after handling. Microwave: Microwave: (1 Serving) (1) Combine grits and water in medium (1-1/2 to 2qt.) microwaveable bowl. (2) Microwave on high: 1 serving: 1-1/2 to 2 minutes -4 servings: 2-1/2 to 3 minutes. (3) Stir before serving. Cooking Instructions: Servings 1: Instant Grits 1/2 cup; Serving 2: Instant Grits 1 cup; Serving 4: Instant Grits 2 cups. Servings 1: Water or Milk 2/3 cup; Servings 2: Water or Milk 1-1/2 cups; Servings 4: Water or Milk 2-2/3 cups. How water: (1) Combine grits and boiling water in a medium bowl. (2) Stir until blended.
