  • Easy Preparation! Prep time: 10 minutes. Cook time: 15 minutes. You will need: 1 cup diced onion, 1 cup chopped celery, 6 cups water, 1 pkg. Pioneer Chicken and Dumplings Meal Sauce and Seasoning Mix. 1 cup frozen vegetables, 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken, 1 pkg. Pioneer Buttermilk Baking Mix (6 oz.), 2/3 milk. (1) Add a small amount of oil to a large saucepan, and saute onions and celery until translucent. (2) Add water and seasoning mix; mix well. (3) Add vegetables and chicken, and bring to a boil. (4) Combine baking mix and milk in medium mixing bowl until a dough forms. (5) Drop spoonfuls of dough into the liquid after the mixture is boiling. (6) Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 8 minutes. Serve.
