Nature Made CholestOff Complete combines esterified reducol, a proprietary blend of plant sterols and stanols (also called phytosterols) and pantesin. CholestOff Complete reduces both dietary and genetic cholesterol. Reducol lowers cholesterol by reducing the absorption of dietary cholesterol into the bloodstream. Pantesin lowers genetic cholesterol by reducing the production of LDL (bad) cholesterol in the liver. Before taking CholestOff Complete dietary cholesterol is absorbed into the bloodstream. After taking CholestOff Complete less dietary cholesterol is absorbed into the bloodstream.
