Angel was named for its angelic sweetness and in honor of the angels that are carved in stone on the front wall of the Messina Hof Winery in Bryan. This wine has been a signature of Messina Hof since the early 1990s. It is fermented slowly at very cool temperatures to preserve its fruitful aromas. 100% Texas. Messina Hof is the 4th oldest winery in Texas. Founded in 1977 by Paul Vincent and Merrill Bonarrigo in Bryan. Now the largest producer of Texas Wines and only producing 100% Texas Wines. The grapes come from the Texas High Plains. Today the wine is produced by Paul Mitchell Bonarrigo, who is the 7th generation of Bonarrigos making wine. The Bonarrigo Family has been making wine for over 200 years in Messina, Sicily. Merrill's family comes from Hof, Germany. Messina Hof Winery is founded on Family, Tradition and Romance.
