0- Teriyaki Chicken: Prep Time: 10 minutes; makes 6 servings. You will Need: 1 pkg. McCormick seasoning mix. 1 cup water. 3 tbsp. Soy sauce. 1 tbsp. Brown sugar. 1-1/2 lbs. Boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch chunks. 3 tbsp. Cold water. 2 tbsp. Corn starch. 2 green onions, finely chopped, green parts only. Instant Pot Directions: 1. Mix seasoning mix, water, soy sauce and brown sugar in small bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Add to pot. Stir in chicken. Close lid. Set valve to seal. 2. Select pressure cook (Manual); cook 5 minutes on high pressure. When done, quick-release the pressure. Open the lid once pressure inside the pot has completely released. (Check manufacturer’s manual for safe operating instructions.). 3. Whisk water and corn starch in small bowl until well blended. Select saute setting. Stir corn starch mixture into sauce mixture in pot until well blended. Simmer 1 minute until mixture is slightly thickened, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with green onions to serve. Slow Cooker Directions: 1. Mix seasoning mix, water, soy sauce and brown sugar in small bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Add to slow cooker. Stir in chicken. Cover.2. Cook 4 hours on low or 2 hours on high. 3. Whisk water and corn starch in small bowl until well blended. Stir corn starch mixture into sauce mixture in slow cooker until well blended. Cover. Cook 30 minutes longer on high or until desired consistency. Turn off slow cooker. Sprinkle with green onion to serve.
