  • Tocino Recipe (Makes 4-5 Servings): 1 pouch (75 g) Mama Sita's Marinating (Tocino) Mix, 1.1 lb (1/2 kg) meat (cut into 1/4 inch thick slices), cooking oil. To Marinate: Place meat in a bowl & sprinkle with Mama Sita's (Tocino) Mix. Mix well. Marinate for at least one hour or can keep in a covered container inside the freezer for a month. To cook the easy way: Pan fry in a small amount of oil or grill or bake in low heat basting frequently with the remaining marinade. Serve hot. Traditional Way: 1. In a wok, cook meat in a marinade and enough amount of water to cover the meat. Bring to a boil. 2. Lower heat, cover & simmer until water dries up & meat starts to sizzle. Increase the heat & cook until meat has a shiny reddish-brown color. Serve hot.
