Contains: soy. Processed in a facility that also packages products containing eggs, milk, tree nuts, and wheat.- This box contains two bags; cake mix and chocolate wafers. You'll need the contents of this box, plus: For the Cake: 3/4 cup melted butter; 1/2 cup hot water; 3 large eggs. For the Glaze: 1/2 cup heavy cream. 1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease and flour an 8 inch round cake pan. 2. To Make the Cake: Stir together the cake mix and melted butter. Add the hot water, mixing till smooth. Add the eggs, again mixing till smooth. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake for 38 to 42 minutes. The top should be shiny, the middle still soft. If desired, check the temperature at the center, using the oven, and let it cool for 2 hours. Place a knife around the edge of the pan to loosen the cake, then turn it out onto a serving plate. 3. To Make the Glaze: Heat the cream until very hot; don't let it come to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate wafers. Let the glaze sit for 5 minutes, then stir until smooth. If bits of chocolate remain unmelted, return to the heat briefly, then stir again. Pour over the cake. Allow glaze to set; this will take several hours. If you're in a hurry, refrigeration will speed the process.
