Description
Joel Gott Central Coast Rose Wine is a delicious dry Provence-style rose. This pink wine showcases aromas of strawberry, raspberry, watermelon and bubblegum with citrus and honeysuckle notes. On the palate, the wine opens with bright fruit flavors and minerality followed by crisp, refreshing acidity and a clean, balanced finish. An award-winning blush wine, Joel Gott Central Coast Rose earned 91 points from Wine Enthusiast and Editor's Choice Wine Spectator: Top 100 Values. Serve this dry wine alongside ramen or mahi mahi tacos. The grapes in this California wine are sourced from San Luis Obispo counties, Monterey and Santa Barbara, all part of the larger Central Coast AVA. After harvest, the fruit was whole cluster pressed upon arrival at the winery. To help preserve the wine's fruit and natural acidity, reductive winemaking was used to limit the amount of oxygen the wine has exposure to during fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This bottled wine has 13.6% ABV and features a screw cap for easy opening. Since 1996, Joel Gott has made wines with everything that matters: structure, sweet fruit, tannin, color, mouthfeel.
