  • Cooking Tips: Pre-cooking: Rinse the rice thoroughly. Open Pan: 5 cups of water for 1 cup of rice. 1. In a large cooking pot, bring water to rolling boil. 2. Add the drained rice and stir gently. 3. Cook uncovered for 6-7 minutes on medium heat. Drain and rinse with more boiling water. 4. Strain excess water and serve. Closed Pan: 2 cups of water for 1 cup of ride. 1. Bring water and rice to boil. 2. Cover pan with a tight lid and let it simmer for 9-10 minutes. 3. Remove from heat and allow it stand covered for 5 minutes. Storage Instructions: Always store Sona Masoori rice in a cool, dry place - away from sunlight.
