Allergens and safety warnings
Use under medical supervision. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a physician before use. Do not use if foil imprinted with IBgard is torn or missing. If there are serious medical issues, IBgard is not recommended.- Usual Adult Dosage: As directed by a physician. For daily and proactive gut-health support: Two capsules once a day. Take 30 to 90 minutes before a meal, with water (IBSREST, a randomized, placebo-controlled trial of IBgard. Results peer-reviewed and published in Dig Dis, and Sci. 2016. IBSACT, a patient-reported outcomes trial published in a peer-reviewed journal, Int J Dig Dis. 2016. IBSSU24, a 24-month, post-marketing safety update; peer-reviewed and presented at ACG 2018). When in flare: Two capsules, three times a day, for four weeks. Take 30 to 90 minutes before meals, with water (IBSREST, a randomized, placebo-controlled trial of IBgard. Results peer-reviewed and published in Dig Dis, and Sci. 2016). Do not exceed eight capsules per day. Swallow capsules whole or open capsules and mix contents with applesauce. Do not chew. Store at room temp (68 to 77 degrees F).
