Combine potato slices, water and margarine in a 2-quart microwave-safe casserole dish. Microwave on high for 10 (microwaves will vary. Instructions use 1100 watt microwave) minutes or until potatoes are just tender. Do not drain. 2. Stir in milk and sauce mix; mix well. 3. Microwave on high for 5 (microwaves will vary. Instructions use 1100 watt microwave) minutes or until potatoes are tender. Let stand 5-10 minutes. Serve. Caution: Dish and potatoes will be very hot. Steam will be present in microwave. Remove dish carefully. 20 Minute Stove-Top Recipe: 1. Combine potato slices, sauce mix, water, milk and margarine in 3-quart saucepan. 2. Heat just to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat and cover. 3. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender are sauce has thickened. 4. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve. Double Recipe: Use a 13x9-inch baking dish or roasting pan. Follow traditional oven recipe with 2 packages potatoes and 2 packages sauce. Bake as directed.
