Description

Humco Iodide Tincture Antiseptic is an effective and safe topical antiseptic. This 2-fl oz container of Humco First Aid Antiseptic is used to prevent infections in scrapes, burns and minor cuts. It is recommended that you clean the affected area, and then apply a little amount of the Iodine Antiseptic one to three times on a daily basis for maximum protection.

Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Alcohol 45% Denatured with Ammonia, Ammonium & Potassium Iodides. Purpose: Antiseptic. Inactive Ingredients: Purified Water.
Allergens and safety warnings
Warnings: For external use only. Flammability warning: Flammable: Keep from spark, heat or flame. Ask a doctor before use if you have deep or puncture wounds; animal bites; serious burns. When using this product: do not use in the eyes (If contact occurs, flush with large amounts of water while lifting upper and lower lids); do not apply over large areas of the body. Stop use and ask a doctor if: the condition persists or gets worse, or if using for longer than one week. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, give milk then give a starch solution made by mixing 2 tablespoons of cornstarch or flour to a pint of water. Contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
Directions: Clean the affected area. Apply a small amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times daily. May be covered with sterile bandage. If bandaged let dry first.
