  • You Will Need: 1 lb lean ground beef, 1-1/3 cups hot water, 2-1/2 cups milk. 1. Brown ground beef in 10 or 12 inch skillet. Remove from heat; drain. 2. Stir in sauce mix and hot water until dissolved. Stir in milk and uncooked Pasta. Return to heat; heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. 3.Reduce heat. Cover; simmer about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Remove from heat; uncover (sauce will thicken). Refrigerate leftovers. High Altitude: Because liquids may evaporate faster, increase water amount and cook times if needed. Microwave Directions: 1. Crumble ground beef into 3-quart microwavable casserole dish. Microwave uncovered on High 3 to 5 minutes, breaking up beef after 3 minutes, until brown; drain. 2. Stir in Sauce Mix, 1-3/4 cups hot water, 2-1/2 cups milk and uncooked Pasta. 3. Microwave uncovered on High 14 to 21 minutes, stirring every 7 minutes, until pasta is tender (sauce will thicken). Dish will be hot. Refrigerate leftovers. High Altitude: Because liquids may evaporate faster, increase water amount and cook times if needed.
