Substitute purple shampoo with your regular shampoo every other wash, or when you notice brassiness in your hair color. Apply to wet hair and massage, starting at the scalp and work down to your ends. Rinse hands immediately to avoid stains. For stubborn brassiness, leave shampoo on hair 2-3 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
