Sustainably sourced and wild caught off the Florida Gulf coast, this Key West Pink shrimp from H-E-B is shell-on and raw. Offering about 41 - 60 shrimp per pound, they're medium-sized and mildly sweet-tasting. And unlike most shrimp that turn pink after cooking, Key West Pinks start out pinkish and then turn opaque.

  • Grill: Heat charcoal for 25 minutes or gas grill for 10 minutes. Clean and oil grate well. Remove shells from shrimp. Skewer them in a "horseshoe" fashion. Marinate shrimp for 10 minutes. Baste with sauce or brush with oil. Grill shrimp about 4" above medium-hot heat (425°F is ideal). Cook 2 - 3 minutes per side until firm and opaque or white in center (145°F internal temperature). Do not overcook. Other options: Bread and fry, broil or steam.
