Description
Carve out some extra time and make your own pumpkin puree with H-E-B Texas Roots Pie Pumpkins. Smaller in size than the classic jack-o'-lantern, they have more flesh inside, too. To make a homemade pie, you'll need to cut the pumpkin in half, scoop out the seeds and stringy bits and bake the halves in the oven. After they're cooked through, chop into chunks and use a food processor to get a smooth, blended consistency. Grown in Texas.
